MP3 Players

I'm trying to get away from the Windows Media Player. I was wondering if anyone can suggest a freeware MP3 play for Windows XP that loads quickly and is awesome looking as far as style. Would really appreciate the suggestions.

that's what I use,
oh and AtomixMP3 is also good.

Winamp, it really whips the llama's ass.
It's widespread and easy to use. Newer versions also have video playback and other fancy visual stuff.

my best bet is mp3 rocket, bareshare, or rapsidy all play music but the first two can also download music as well

I also suggest Winamp it is a great little media player.
The new version looks pretty sweet if you go for looks and has a lot of cool features in organizing you music.
Like you I changed from WMA I wanted to get away from using it.....kinda annoyed the crap out of me so now I am a faitful Winamp user.

I'm going to agree with Hassun and say Winamp. I've tried a few different ones and they just don't work as smoothly as winamp. Not only does it use less resources than most of the others it works with any MP3 player including ipods and can run almost any format of video or audio out there.

Try realplayer I use it alot to burn CD's,& it's a good player specialy if U use internet alot,I also use jetAudio often,whatever winamp is one of the best I usually use it to play mp3,then winamp is the most recomended mp3 player

VCL media player did try it?? I like it!! is really great I just dont know if it works on windows system...

I'm with Hassun on this one too. Winamp's pretty nifty to use. It's never been too hard to play around with, and honestly, I love being able to download different skins for it. I've been using Winamp for years, and have tried several of other players, but Winamp has and always will be my favorite.

Try Foobar..Its not much to look at but its fast and gets the job done.
Oh and about VLC, it does run on Windows

I would go want Winamp it has the best quality for your musical taste, but that's just me.
