MSN Messenger telling me to change my ID.

So today when I signed in, I got an offline message from the windows staff, that said I need to change my sign-in ID.
Then I clicked on the link: Help and Support
    that was in the message.
It says I have to change only my sign in ID.

Did anyone else get this? Is this necessary or what? I'm lost.

I haven't gotten it. But then again, I don't log my MSN off, so that might be the reason.

Having a seperate sign in ID rather then using your Email would increase your accounts security, since you won't be using the same login/pass for both your IM and email (not that it matters for me, I don't use my hotmail account except solely for my MSN)

    Seems legit though.
