no connection detected?

here is the problem i try to sign in to
windows or yahoo ir even google
i get the nessage no conection detected
or something about NET. services not being active.

i checked my fire walls and there alowing them
and im online with evrything but the messanger
anyone have an idea of what i should do?

The '.NET' frameworks is a runtime library package that many Microsoft utilities and compiled applications need for network functionality... have you tried installing the .NET package???

i did that and the system repaired itself but when i
tried again it said i had a cycle redundancy not
sure what that means.

though i am still trying other things and thanks for
the link i had no dea the frame work was damaged
so that is fixed but im still having net connection
problems.

CRC? This is starting to sound like a damaged file system issue. Run a File System check utility NOW! (If you don't have one, you can use the built in XP utility by opening 'My Computer' right click on the drive and select properties, then look at the tools tab...) After repairing the file system (as needed) uninstall the problem application, reboot, then reinstall it...

alright just fixed kit the file was win/sys/32 fat
its fixed now thanks its just odd it messed upl like that

I'm glad you got your problem fixed cause if you didn't the only thing I could think of for you to do since you have a new computer is to redownload your yahoo.
