Thread: Printer/Scanner help?

I was considering looking at HP combo printer units myself... what kind of issues did you have with it???

Get a Lexmark 2500 it comes with printer/scanner/copier and fax capabilities. Price wise it is not that expensive like the HP J4540 all in one.

try lexmark, it's good, i have lexmark 3500-4500 series with printer, scanner nd copier, but without fax

I keep trying to reinstall it ... but it keeps telling me that the USB cable isn't connected when it is. I have no idea what to do because it's not letting me scan anything. It lets me print things and copy too but scanning ... it doesn't do it. That and I need the scanner more than anything. Maybe it's the USB cable ... I'm not so sure. I should print screen what it tells me.

I'll think about the lexmark though ...

Instead of scanning your documents through the software do it directly from the printer. choose the scan option from the printer keypad, then it will ask you what type of scan you want to make. Let me know if that works.
