Okay so I bought a brand new gameshark and I put it in my PS2 and it won't read it. The same Disc read error comes up. I want to know if its the disk itsef that's causing the problem or is it my 6-year old PS2. So any ideas..

I found on my older ps2 it wouldent read some of the new cds which pissed me off and then my ps2 met a very sad end :lol2:
but now that i have a newer ps2 i dont have this problem eny more.
Your only choice right now is to put in some other game or cd, and see if your PS2 can read it...if it can't read those either, it's probably RIP.Quote:

do u mean the old bule ones that first came out with ps2 or the old black ones from ps1 ? because both i had trouble with on my older ps2.
