    I never said that only music can be played on it. Oh and Windows Media player can play videos as well as music. And rar is a compressed format for files. Just like .zip only .rar compresses it more than .zip. And there are more media players than just Window Media. Such as Quick time and Real Player.

    WinRAR, WinZIP = archive compression program

    RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, VLC Player, Quicktime = media player
