Sony Vegas and Divx

ok, so i recently bought Sony Vegas so i could make some new AMVs....only problem is Sony Vegas doesn't support DivX or Xvid files. i need to either find a program that will convert DivX/Xvid files to WMV files, or find a way to get Sony Vegas to read DivX/Xvid (which it won't, if i read the offical Vegas site right)
