hmm..........what websites have we been looking at huh

do you have antivirus on your comp?

i'm not a good explainer but i believe spyware slows down ur comp and internet speed. i do know what program u can get to delect spyware. u can download spy bot search and destroy. that a niftly little free program that delects all those anoyying spyware of ur comp.

The best free software is spybot.

You must have been download some stuff :S

Spyware

Spybot = free
Spysweeper = pay

Antivirus

AVG = free
Nod32 = pay

Adware

Adaware Personal = free
Adaware Professional = pay

Those are the best Antivirus, Spyware and Adaware programs imo and many others.

No program can detect all of the malicious items, so that a manual inspection may be necessary. Always run both adaware and spybot and if the problems stay, download Autoruns from sysinternals.com and remove suspicious autorun entries. It would be helpful to run the Autoruns thingy on another computer as well to see which items should remain in place.

Can someone provide a link to the site where you can download Spybot? [virus free and spyware free, of course]

Um google it...im pretty sure the spybot site dosent distribute it but it links to a mirror download...
