    Depends on what operating system you want, but the PC should have came with the installation or a recovery CD. Also you didn't answer my other questions.

    What company did she buy it from, I know for a fact Dell will send the recovery CD but it takes like 1-2 weeks.

    And exactly how old is this computer?
