Although i will probably wing it, i need to ask if anyone has blueprints for a dvd shelf? Or just some tips to help me build one, like what kind of wood and stuff cheaper is better
I want to build a 5ftx5ft shelf w/o doors, so any help anyone?

you just need a 5 by 5 shelf? how many dvd's deep? just one? or two?

Ok, i just winged it lol, instead of 5x5 i build a 6ftx 3ft shelf with tons of space 7 shelfs 9 inches from the center of each shelf with a 2in. gap at the bottom to elevate it.
I used> Skill saw=$39; B&D small drill=$10; Nails= $2.99; square= $3.89; pencil= free; clamps $2.99, small hand saw for touch ups $3.49, Wood from lowes $25 for 5 boards i cut 3 boards to make my shelfs and 2 boards for the sides, I had some small 3/4 ths board i used to make the back between the shelfs "a small strip to keep the dvds from falling out. Total price= around $87

I was told the shelf i wanted from the wholesale place was $229.00 i built it myself+ baught the equiptment for $87 i saved $147, plus a few of my friends liked it so im building them some for 75 a piece... hmm im coming out on this lol, I alredy had stain and gloss so that was free as well, took me all day to build it but im already reaping the beniefts.

but u forgot that once upona time u paid for a pecil so thats about 5 cents. lol
thats pretty cool
alot of stuff is really easy to build yourself you just gotta have the will power to get off the couch and do it.
