unable to delete file...

okay so i did something wrong and now i got a file with the name The Legend of Zelda. it doesnt have a extension so it is just a File with 0KB size. no matter what i cannot delete it. it keeps giving me this error:

Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

i tried going into safe mode to delete it but i cannot. i also cannot rename the file. how do i get rid of this file?

Have you tried going though the actuall hardware part of the system. For instents add/remove a program from the system. since you mention you downloaded "the legend of zelda" I don't know what type of system you have, but with mine I have to go to the control panel to remove any program that i've downloaded. I hope that this gives you some help. You can pm me if you need any more help.

You can always try to boot in DOS and deleted it that way...

What was the name of the original file?

I think that the file name was "The Legend of Zelda". From what I read in the question from iazndragoon.

Which would suggest the file wasn't originally named that.

No problem. I use it alot, because i get that access denied, can't delete all the time. This gets rid of those dam stubborn files. You can get rid of some after you re-boot, but this is faster.

One thing I gotta add is that you should use that program with discretion. I remember seeing it and going "wow!" a while back. But then the creators also warned that you shouldn't just unlock whatever it is giving you trouble, because most of the time a file is probably being used by another program...
