Hmm, what windows you are using?
If you are using windows 98 se I would recommend getting new drivers
from manufactors site. Actually...if you USB stick ain't broken that should
help with all OS..

I think.. it could be the drivers... u should have the 2.0 USB drivers in ur PC...

I think you don´t need USB 2.0 unless ur memory stick works only with USB2 (specified on the box). Sometimes WinXP leaves some trashs on USB files (when u dont disconnect it properly), so what u need to do? Just try use another USB port, or .

1) Try it first, Remove all USB drivers of your PC, restart it, reinstall all USB drivers.

2) Maybe your MOBO is with USB disable, try search for it too.

3) Search for usb files on Windows XP (dont remember de directory) and delete it. Ill try find it here on my work.
