Video Questions (A Couple)

1. I have a Dvd-R disc and I put a video on it (it was a WMV video) and it said on the Dvd player could not read do I have to change its format to a Dvd-R format or will it only play AVI/MPG4 videos.

2. My drama teacher showed the class a video of all there videos and they had a menu on it with the scene selection and the play button like a regular Dvd how can I make something like that for a video its so cool.

1. Unless your DVD player can directly support media files, you will have to convert it to ISO-9660 format (that's DVD-ROM) with standard MPEG-2 and audio formats

2. You need a DVD authoring software to do this. NERO is a nice commercial package that is readily available

But how do I convert Videos to that format is there a tool or way I can do that.

A good DVD Authoring package (such as NERO) will have the ability to convert 'common' media formats. (MKV files are a different matter...)

okay I dont like MKV but thank you very much but one more thing NERO has many programs which ones would be best for what I want to do.
