    VLC and Subtitles

    Hi,

many new anime are coming out in the .mkv file type. Usually they are very good quality with the choice to watch them with or without subtitles and multiples audio tracks. I use the freeware VLC to watch them.

Now, my problem is when I'm watching them with subtitles, and two characters are talking at the same time or there are 2 dialogs at the same time, the subtitles overlap each other and I cannot read any of them for the specific part.

Is there an option that will put the subtitles above each other when there are more than 1 dialog at the same time?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Hiko

i have that problem too on vlc player and mkv files. i always thought it was the sub group that makes their subs like that. if its not that then i think u can fix the problem in the options.

VLC player. its a video player that plays nearly any type of file. for OGM and MKV, just go to video and then to subtitles or something.

    Re: VLC and Subtitles

The problem is with VLC and not the subtitles. I downloaded 2 other programs and the subtitles were just fine.

if you want to check them out, the 2 players are:

    - The Core Media Player
    - Zoom Player
