You need an art program to make signatures and avatars and as mentioned by InnerHell san you can upload images into photobucket.
! Rescue me from this loneliness !
you can use art programs as miki said, such as adobe photoshop, and there are eaiser programs as well such as photo brush
gimp works too, plus its free @_@
