Before I got my ipod I thought it was overrated and I got the Creative Zen Nano. It holds up to 150 songs and it has 215 MB last time I checked. And it's similar to the iPod shuffle when it came out except it has an LSD screen. But I would stick with the ipod. It holds more songs and has more space on it.

my mp3 is one gig so its holds 1000 songs so for the 50 bucks i wold say the sony mp3 is better than most ipods since its more for music than anything
but thats just me why buy something for more than music? though
the ipod does have a few more otpions but thats just how i am

Personally I have a Sansa 4.0 GB player…it was cheaper then the iPod nano and after removing all the junk (like 2 GB of it due to Rhapsody) the player has been awesome…no problems and I have had it since Dec. 06.

    I use a creative Zen Mp3 player.
I have always preferred them over the iPod because that's is a typical 'fashion object' which means you pay extra just because it's an iPod.
The Creative players also support more file types than the iPod.

    I have a Tangent Jukebox

It's pretty good, i've had it since i was 14, though it only has about 500 MB, but still it's playing even though i've dropped to times (i think i've only dropped it to times)
