Windows XP Pro not starting up!!!
When I chated yesterday with Kasai everything was fine, but now when I try to start Windows normally, it makes it to the screen "Windows XP: Professional" and the bar that goes from left to right shows that it's doing something and the computer makes the sound it does normally, but it remains at this screen indefinately. I already tried a "System Restore" in Safe Mode but it didn't fix the problem. I tried checking for viruses in Safe Mode and didn't find any and well...I even closed the PC normally after leaving Safe Mode, disconnected the internet cable and other accessories and they don't seem to be interfering with the startup, any idea why this is happening to me suddenly?
I have Service Pack 2 and my PC is an AMD Athlon thunderbird 850 MHz with a SOYO K7VTA-B Motherboard and plenty of SDRam and I have like 8 Gigabytes of free space on my Disk. I can startup Safe Mode without any trouble, though opening it normally just doesn't work.........
