Thread: ZoneAlarm ?

I have zone alarm and the same thing has happened...I don't know why...maybe there was a bug or something??

I have ZoneAlarm Pro and nothing has happened :/ do you guys have the basic version?

Reinstall the Zonealarm then rerun the update sounds like there is a bug in your uptate. report it to Zone Alarm

Its back to normal, so its no big deal. Just was curious why it did that. It didnt effect the operation.

I've had problems with zonealarm before. Mind you, it's always been functional problems like just not working anymore. But this is a new one for me. Sinistra's suggestion of reinstalling/updating seems perfectly sound to me.

Mind you, i've never had luck with firewalls. I just live without one (excpet the XP firewall ofcourse). As long as you don't go to porn/warez sites your reasonably safe (you know, only a few hundred adware programs instead of a few thousand ).

Anyone have a free basic firewall they can suggest that isn't zone alarm I've tride outpost and zone alarm (Kim Kommando Digital Goddes' recommendations) but i really don't care for either of those.

Ive had ZoneAlarm for over three years, and it preforms great.

after my PC had a virus i switched to ZoneAlarm and I am glad i did.

I do prefer it over the normal Windows Firewall as somethings can still get through.
