Yanagi's dad is a president of a large hotel, he himself is handsome and clever, always wins the favor among girls. Moreover, he's always on the top of class and champions in all sports meetings when he was in primary school. But after he met Kujou, a transfered student, he had never savored the taste of victory in any single match with this girl for ten years. "Let's bid for final victory, Kujou." There here comes the last game. Will Yanagi fall in love with Kujou while he hates his competitor but cares so much about this girl?

Don't just read the summary and decide from that! Its actually a really iteresting manga. It was in Haitus for a while, but the fourth chapter just came out. The relationship is really different from most manga I've read (and I've read a TON). I personally like it a lot. You should give it a try! :)

but i think ur friend is somewhat right in a way. i mean, who wants to read a manga that has bad drawings?
u see, my bro told me to read the manga "Gantz" and i found the plot very interesting. but the art wasnt the best ive seen, so i didnt end up reading it. i did give it a try and all, like i read the first 5 chapters, but i just found out that this manga wasnt to my taste because of the drawings.
so i think the art has some characteristics to liking a manga.

True. Art work can play a part in wanting to read a manga or even watching the anime. But I believe it all depends on what you expect the art to be. Because someone likes the art and that's why it's well known (Gantz and One Piece for example).

you're right, but I wouldn't say that any manga has bad drawings. It would just not be your style of art, like you said, your taste. but the manga artist do work hard to get to where they are at, and like Tomomi said, someone had to have like the art. Idk I just wish my friend weren't so closed minded...she doesn't read Korean manwha because of the lips -_____- I guess that's another art preference thing, but still. lol
