    Somewhat to new to Manga

Hello, signed up to this site in hope of being pointed in the right direction, bit of a late comer to manga collecting as I only started up last year.

Currently I've invested in the following series: UPDATED: June 4th, 2012

    Have completed:

    Chobits (8 Volumes)
    Deathnote (12 Volumes)
    FLCL (2 Volumes)
    Love Hina (14 Volumes)

    Currently Reading:

    Bakuman (@ Volume 5)
    Bleach (@ Volume 29)
    Fairy Tail (@ Volume 2)
    One Piece (@ Volume 17)
    Sailor Moon (@ Volume 3)
    Tsubasa (@Volume 1)
    xxxHolic (@ Volume 4)
    Yotsuba&! (@ Volume 4)

Other series I've dabbed in but don't own:

    Dragon Ball
    Liar Game
    Life is Money
    Love*Com

Everything I have thus far I've enjoyed, curious on some other series people would recommend?

Action/Adventure types seem to be up my alley
Mystery is another type I'd like to try out (Recently read a few chapters of a Manga Book called Life is Money, things of that nature are pretty interesting)
Romance is something I can tolerate if done well
Comedic/Funny is another type of manga I'd like to enjoy

Try Hunter X Hunter! It's one of my favourites! Samurai Champloo is also good, euhm what else? Noblesse (only available online), claymore and, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru is a cool martials manga. I hope that does it!

Mystery manga...I really enjoyed Ghost Hunt and No.2
Funny Manga with twist of romance in it...Kuragahime...I crack up every time with the little asides about the nerds
Another romance/comedy..is Lovely Complex and Yumeiro Taiyo (I really love this title..especially the obsessed koala guy)
    Adventure:Superior , 07-Ghost, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle by Clamp..this is a long one!

Re: Somewhat to new to Manga

Thanks for all the recommendations, I've checked out the first chapter on most of these recommendations definitely got hooked on Lovely Complex. Being a bit of a collection seems this series isn't easily obtainable in English which is unfortunate Risa and Otani are such a wacky but believable couple. Tsubasa is a series I've always like to invest into as I'm aware its an alternate universe of the xxxHolic series, read the first few chapters of that and can say I'm eager to invest into that series.

Hunter x Hunter - Read the first couple chapters and it didn't spark anything, maybe I should give it more time
Gintama - Reading the first chapter only I feel this series can be promising, might read on it more sometime down the road

Mushishi & Samurai Champloo - I have seen a few episodes of the anime series and wonder how closely the anime follows the manga? I'm aware both anime series can be gotten on the cheap or watched online

As for the rest of the recommendations I haven't gotten around to yet but I'll surely read a chapter or two if I can find a scan

You have a pretty neat list so far. When I first started I began with Dragon Ball. I highly recommend you read Reborn! and Rurouni Kenshin. And if you're looking for something really funny, but interesting at the same time, I would recommend you read Air Gear.

I really appreciate recommendations though I know it may be asking to much but can you put your recommendations into a groups describing what kind of manga it is? (ex. Romance, Comedy, Adventure, Mystery, etc)

Always eager to check out some more series
