This is a friendly reminder to any new members that there is a procedure for posting these types of threads. This is taken directly from the Rules/FAQ and also appears in my signature:

We are trialling the re-introduction of favourite threads. You can now ask about other's favourites, however you MUST EXPLAIN WHY IT'S YOUR FAVOURITE!

Simply posting a name/title and declaring it's your favourite is nothing more than a list post. List posts are still not allowed. That is, posts that comprise of no explanation as to why you chose a certain favourite.
Additionally, you must clearly state in the thread title and thread itself that anyone replying must say WHY it is their favorite.

Example of an acceptable favorites thread:

Thread title: What is your favorite anime and why?

I was just wondering what everyones' favorite anime was and why it is their favorite. Mine is Bleach because I enjoy the storyline and the characters appeal to me. It manages to keep my attention. Plus I think that the whole soul society/death gods thing is very interesting. Additionally, I find that it has a good balance of both comedy and action. Seeing as I am both a fan of comedy anime and action anime this fits quite nicely with me.
That is an example of a perfectly acceptable favorites thread. If you are making one like this you will not receive an infraction.

Example of an unacceptable favorites thread:

Thread title: What is your favorite anime?

What is your favorite anime? Mine are bleach, trigun, cowboy bebop.
Notice the difference here? No reasons were given why said anime was your favorite. This also is a list thread. If you are posting a thread like this you are wrong on two different accounts and will likely receive an infraction.

That is all. Have a nice day.
