i have read this news a long time ago and i am surprised why would the japanese media would not let this go until now.

the issue here, is about the expo's mascot having a similar look of gumby, so the japanese media calls it a copyright violation. but i just don't understand why would they get involved with this. they even went far going to the us and interview the son of the creator of gumby. i find this really odd.
