I hate the cartoons that are an imitation of Japanese anime. It's just sad how they think that they can try to create work that's comparable to Japanese anime...

I doubt anime will ever get the recognition it really deserves here in America. The majority of the residents aren't big fans of animes at all. They prefer their tv soap operas and such.

I believe that 45% of the USA population likes anime. 35% of that 45% are Emo kids, the rest are young teenagers, adults and pre-teens.

If that were the case wouldn't they dislike disney as well? I know in Californai the anime-lovers percentage is in the 60s mabye 70s yet the contries intirty (i think i spelled that right) is only in the 30s and 40s now why should that be?
