Thread: Besides anime, what else do you love about Japan?

i like so many thingsxD
like...the nature...the music,the history ..,the drama for sure xD...also..i love the people in there..they look so nice and kind..and so on..~^^
i just love japan ..~!i really wanna go there someday its my dream~^^~

I'll probably go somewhere too. I'm not sure when though. Seems they don't have many private baths though, and I'm a little... eerrggghhhkkkk about that. : ( It's a bit iffy going nakie infront of other people, but I'm sure its just a cultural thing. It'd be win if it'd be shared baths. xD But at the same time, yeah, I'd be all like... >o< -Blushblushblushhide-

It's a nice place to go, but I'd be fussy which part I actually visit. <3

Besides the Anime I think the music the country side the history and especially the Great food I love it

I guess that myself being Japanese has a lot to do why I love Japanese and Asian culture overall. Perhaps the 3 things that attracts me the most to these places are their way of living, music, and food of course ^^

Way of living- I really admire that they take everything in a different perspective of a Western country. Not to mention in Japan and I assume other Asian countries they are really modern, yet you can still see traces of their ancient roots. Like in Japan its still possible to see the essences of the feudal times. Really neat stuff! I also take a great liking to how they take up their honor system and intergrity within the society. Not to mention martial arts! Judo or Tae Kwon Do (I know its TKD is a korean martial art but I love it a lot!)

Music- Ah! Japanese and Korean music is what I basically only listen to besides a few Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, and Viet songs here and there. Truthfully, it intrigues me how different each singer/band sounds even in mainstream music. Which is the contrary in the American Music Market, though I have nothing against it besides not pleasing to my taste. I also love the sense of musical talent, effort, and style each singer/band seems to pertain in their respective countries.

Food- Need to say more? Japanese food is just superb! It's something I've grown up eating since forever now.

uf, I love almost everything about Japan,it's culture and history are really interesting for me ^^
Although the tea ceremony .....well grandma made sure I wasn't a big fan of it ahhh so many rules!! -_-;

theirs plenty of reason why i love japan,not only for anime and manga but also these following:
1.music
2.food(i always wanted to try ramen)
3.love the clothes like those kamono i wish my closet wuz full of them
4.creation in history
5.video games especially when it is realistic
6.nature(it gets me in the heart)
7.toys(their so cute)
8.their facial(like eyes..it always amuse me)
all in all i wish i wuz one of them....xd
