It's just sad that even then they say and write it wrong...

well... Japanese love two things, physical fitness and learning English...

but... i guess it would be useful if they were going to New York!

...back to topic. To be honest, I'm not surprised at all, there are a lot of different TV shows that teach english in an unusual manner. But this....the kiddy learning show is better, jeez. @_@

At least some of those phrases could be useful... maybe... Unlike this one show I watched when I was in Japan and the person was having a bad day so it said "It is not my day" (in English), and then to show the opposite it showed him having a good day so he said "It is my day!" (in English). I mean... who says "It is my day!"?! I mean "It is my lucky day" or something like that, sure... but I think I'd laugh at someone who said "It is my day" ^^;

I mean... taxis are important... as our words to use around the office... *shrug*

Well, that was funny way of teaching TV viewers English.
