The Double R Sound in Japanese

I've noticed that in Japanese media people use the double r sound to be tough alot. But I'm wondering how common is the double r sound. Are there a bunch of words with the double r sound like in spanish or is it rare.
You can kinda hear it in this video on youtube.

It depends on the dialect...but it's more like slurring their words rather than it being part of the words. When I lived there I never heard it directly but did over hear it a tiny bit in Osaka. But the Osaka dialect is 'supposed' to be rougher sounding compared to the Tokyo dialect.

And to be totally honest in Japanese there really isn't a "R" sound at all, it sounds more like a long cross between an L and R- so you might be hearing that as a double R.
