Thread: Dreams do come true! (for some people)

A young women (okay, so she's around 27, even if she always says she wants to be 20) called Catherine recently entered a competition in Japan to win a prize and sing for an intro/ending or something like this for a future Japanese anime. She is currently living in Japan with very little funds.

Anywho, I think she is a very passionate person. Go comment on her blog and encourage her to make some day the best anime intros, endings and any other form of music having to do with anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So she still hasn't become a true singer in Japan just yet, but she is working uber hard. Imagine a stranger from far away that comes and tries to be part of a very closed universe. To have done so much is already overwhelming. I will continue on checking up on her from time to time and wish her the best.



Now, have any of you lived events like this relating to Japan or dreams that you really think you will try to realize? If so, come and discuss about it here. I myself will try to become an English teacher as a second language and possibly go to Japan to teach young and old this language. Who knows if I'll manage. Until then, I'm crossing my fingers :P
