Thread: Genre?

Domestic implies that it has to do with relationships or love. Something of the sort.

oh? i thought domestic means when something is from home... or the opposite of international.
but then, all j-pop would be from japan, so that wouldn't make sense.
unless they mean j-pop that stays in the country and doesn't try to expand over-seas?

that's just what i assumed anyway, i'm not too sure, lol

i never heard of domestic j-pop before...i thought they all the same...
where exactly you found this 'domestic j-pop'..?

I got the album "Switch Remix" by Schaft and for some reason it's genre appears in itunes as Domestic J-Pop.

I heard of that but i never get to know waht it really is the difference.

Sometimes it says that if the album is released domestically in USA. that's what I think. :] I didn't think Schaft were J-pop. @>@

You've actually heard of Schaft?
No, it wasn't released in the US, it was released under the now extinct Japanese label Blue Noise and the only places you can really find it now are on ebay and amazon japan.
