    Haiku

    haiku's are awesome and fun...
    my friend and i were making fun of each other by writing haikus today and it was fun... ehree lines long. the first one having five syllables, the second seven, and the last having five.

    our teacher gave us a paper having haiku's. some are pretty funny.
    here are a couple:

    Big Bang or maybe
    six days of work, one of rest.
    Somehow, it begins.

    Dinosaurs tromp tromp,
    act tough, then die so Spielburg
    can win more Oscars.

    P.S. does this go here or should it have gone in the poems section?
    i couldn't decide...
    sig made for the SOTW comp. week of march 31.

    Re: Haiku

    I was thinking about writing Haikus as of late...but...nothing has come to mind worth writing about...so I am still waiting for inspiration.

    My critiques: I likeed the first poem, but the second poem was a bit weak int he department of word choice and was too comical for my taste.

    A haiku is a Japanese form of poems...

    Anyway! If you wrote those two poems, the poetry section would be most appropriate... ^_^;;
