here's one legend...after the first emperor unites china, he ordered his subjects to find him an elixir of immortality and if they all fail, they will be all put to death. knowing that it is impossible for them to find such an impossible thing, they all decided to runaway and lived on a island that is far from the reaches of the emperor. and that island is non other than japan.

i love japanese culture definatly samurais and dragons
but i didn't like Hiroshima i mean we did stop the japanese from attacking but i wish that we didn't have to use the nuclear bomb but what if we didn't use it we would be toast but i can't say they did all the bad stuff i mean these days japanese people are cool
i know this cause my best friend is japanese american and fun to hang out with.
well, you can also check out the ainu wich is the native tounge of japan, besides japanese. It's is still spoken, but it's mainly spoken by priest and little groups that still hold on to it. It's pretty much a dead language. However it was one of the foundations for the current language; japanese. (Hope I gave ya a nice tip ^^)
