anime came out in 1950 somethign how could they have made it with there economy struggle during the war and the bombing of hiroshima and tokyo this just is weird to me i dotn know about you but this is very strange make anime after the war with everythign destroyed great help my mind is blown

You do realize that Japan consists of more then just two cities right?
And the cities that were bombed were Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
But to answer the real question, because it was after world war 2. During the war Japan was in a state of forced nationalism. Animation got a huge boost sue to government interest. A sort of pro war propaganda to pander to children. So when the war ended there was a surplus of animation. Of course it involved into what it is now. Interesting point is that the WW 2 era is when the first feature length anime was created. War is good for some industries.
