Thread: Japanese art

I love Sumi-e Ink paintings. They're phenomenal, so much detail are put into them with such finesse it's unnerving.

I know the passion they put behind every painting makes me wish i could draw like that

Those woodblock prints made by Hiroshige and Hokusai sure are detailed. I went to a exposition of Hokusai's work in Paris this summer and I had to whip out the good old magnifying glass multiple times. The detail is just out of this world.

japanese is amazing and will always be no other form can even compare

I think Japanese art is awesome, i mean when i do it, it's okay... so it's like you can work your way up to it like the professionals, or you can just give up after the first try.

I think Japanese art is really good. It's amazing how simple, yet complicated their paintings are.
