For goodness' sakes, stop the one-liners!

Hmmmmmmm. I seriously am craving sashimi right now. If only the hotels would serve ootoro instead of middle-grade chuutoro... <__<
That said, who's had ootoro before?

Mochi is oishii!!!! I haven't tried that many flavors but the ice cream ones and the reg. ones are good! How do I explain mochi.... it's doughy on the outside and there are different flavors on the inside.... hope that explains it. >.<

Oh and question. What exactly is an Onigiri? I hear it come up in manga and i'm like... rice with different flavors inside???? is it any good?

An onigiri is a rice ball wrapped in seaweed. can be plain, or it might have some kind of stuffing. It's not flavoured rice, if that's what you were thinking of. It's.... rice with stuffing in the middle. If you like the vinegared rice that comes with sushi, you'll probably like onigiri because it uses the same type of rice. As for what's inside... you can have tuna, egg bits, dried plum... all sorts of things. But it's just one type of stuffing per onigiri - onigiri's supposed to be mainly made out of rice - if there isn't enough sticky rice to hold the stuffing in it can actually fall apart (as was the case when I tried to stuff my onigiri with all sorts of things ).

And it can come in various shapes and sizes too - round, triangular, squarish... all up to you.

Do people still eat chicken fetuses in Japan?

Edit: Nevermind I decided to start a thread about it.

I haven't really tired Japanese foods, not even Sushi really. I've tired Chinese and Thai though ( Thai my favourite so far yummers)
Going by all the dishes everyone is describing, I should really try to find some Japenese food some where to try, maybe take a trip to Japan for that reason lol.

    I love food.. ^_^

LOL, no need to go so far, just visit the nearest Japanese restaurant. Thai food's good too. And Vietnamese food. Yum. But sushi's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of food. If you're not into seafood, Japanese food probably isn't for you...
