Ikura donburi. Is. The. Best.
I'm not a big rice eater, but it's easy to overlook the rice when my bowl is filled with ikura. Ikura. Ikura. IKURA IKURA IKURA. Yum.
Oh i have to try that!!
i have only had the common stuff, sushi....rice balls, pocky,
yan yan, ramen, and these other 2 dishes i can't remember the name of:joker:
yakisoba
okonomiyaki
inari zushi
curry udon
croquettes
omurice
moyashi ramen
karage
yakitori
takoyaki
agedofu
nikujaga
dry curry
yakisoba - fried noodles with cabbage, beef, shredded carrots and an fruit-based sauce sprinkled with dry seaweed and served with baby ginger
okonomiyaki - batter mixed with a variety of vegetables/meats/seafoods to make a pancake... covered in a sauce similar to the one to make yakisoba and mayonaise with bonito flakes and baby ginger.
inari zushi - fried tofu packets soaked in sweet vinegar stuffed with sushi rice
curry udon - thick buckwheat noodles served in a curry sauce
croquettes - deep fried sweet mashed potato clumps
omurice - an omelette wrapped around ketchup rice
moyashi ramen - chinese style noodle soup with spicy beef and bean sprouts
karage - fried battered chicken thighs
yakitori - skewered meat and vegetables covered in a slightly sweet sauce
takoyaki - lightly fried dumplings filled with bits of octopus, covered in okonomiyaki sauce and bonito flakes
agedofu - deep fried tofu
nikujaga - meat and potatos stewed together with vegetables and konyaku in a slightly sweet sauce
dry curry - a sweet, spicy curry made with ground beef/pork and chopped vegetables (there isn't the usual "soupy" portion of sauce) served over rice.
