    Wow then I should be dead by now, I eat way to many instant ramens..
    But i do have to admit, the little packets hav changed a lot, they used to be relly good..now they taste like all chemical

    I love Ramen, and one of my favorites is croquettes (sp) which is fried mashed potatoe chunky type thingies (LOL)
    but my all time favorite woudl have to be Onigiri (rice balls filled with lots of things)

    Any kind of onigiri in particular? I have a friend who likes her onigiri plain. That is to say, with nothing inside. Just rice wrapped in seaweed. I like mine with ume. And bonito flakes. Mmmmmmmmm.

    Oh, and does anyone like taiyaki? I recently came across a shop selling taiyaki in NYC. I was pretty ecstatic about finding it... until I saw that they were stuffing the taiyaki with sausages. Like, huh??? Sausage taiyaki??? Wth?

    Ramen, its the best out there, especially Miso Beef Flavor!

    I like my onigiri with chicken, and then i really like bonito flakes and eggplant.

    I love pocky and Romen those are awesome foods. The best pocky is chocolate. The best Romen is chicken. The best drink is Green Tea!

    Yeah, bonito flakes.
    Katsuobushi goes with just about anything.

    Quick question: does anyone know specifically what kind of dashi goes with okonomiyaki batter? I went to Jas Mart and realized I had no idea what sort of dashi I wanted, so I just got the bonito-flavored one since konbudashi sounded nasty (I hate konbu) and I didn't think shiitake dashi would go with okonomiyaki...

    I like sukiyaki, sukiyakidon, sushi, tempura, miso soup too (weird?)... I don't like california maki tho... its too moderny, and it has little or no fish at all... Yuck!
