Bakkari means "all the time". It's not used in the same context as "itsumo" (always), though. You use it when you want to emphasise how something is done/said repeatedly (sometimes annoyingly), like, "Tanaka no yatsu ha soto bakkari miteru." (Tanaka is aaaalllways looking outside), or "Ano Tanaka ha Kanada ni ikitai bakkari hanashiterun'da. Ore ha mou akita!" (That Tanaka is always talking about going to Canada. I'm sick of it!"
how hard is learning japanese from the english language i mean is it hard as lerning spanish bc spanish is easy how long do u thinki twuld take me to learn it if i really try
..:Open Your Wings Evil Angel:..
Clearly, it differs with each person. Are you planning to teach yourself or attend classes? If you go for an intensive course it may take you up to a year to become fairly proficient in the language, and even so there'll still be lots of things you don't know (colloquial slang being one of them). I'm self-taught, and though I started teaching myself Japanese like 10 years ago, I gave up halfway and started again from scratch four years back. I can honestly say I'm fairly fluent in the language and I can speak colloquial Japanese. I probably wouldn't be able to write a very good essay or make a good speech but to me all that's important is being able to converse naturally with native Japanese... so yeah.
I'm a fast learner, though, and I was an exchange student for a bit. I'd say allow yourself about 2-3 years. I can't compare it with Spanish because I never learned Spanish. The most difficult thing about Japanese, like with any other language, is the grammar and sentence construction. You may learn a lot of words, but how do you string them together? That is key.![]()
nihongo no anatawa warui...
ja ne minasan!!
sheez, i hope you get this one.
Konnichiwa, Genki Desu Ka! Waka Waka Bang Bang. Explosions
10 years? That made me wonder for a second, "now how old is she?" ^_^; You were lucky to start so early ^^
As for is it similar to Spanish, Naruto1988, if you're a native English speaker, you probably find Spanish easier because it's similar to English (or just pick up languages well). I took Spanish before Japanese and, though they aren't really alike, I found it easier simply because I took a foreign language before it and the beginning-learning process was similar (geez I've said that alot in this one paragraph ^^0). However, like I said, IMO the languages aren't very like each other and in Spanish you don't have to completely learn how to write it first so it will probably take some time.
like rebel said, it will probably take 2-3 years. A member who use to come here, (JEEB to be exact) said they started 2 years ago and their Japanese seemed quite good ^^ Doesn't come around anymore though..
And youkoso, sergeant_rose and Dark_Ichigo_X ^.^ I think I know what you're trying to say, sergeant, but your word order (and word choice, unless you were talking to rebel) seemed a little off with "nihongo no anatawa warui...". If you meant your 'Japanese isn't good', try something like "Watashi no nihongo wa yokunai"![]()
