LoL. Just posting random words doesn't really help the beginners, you know. ^^;; Be nice.

Thumbs up Re: Japanese language learning.

Okay I know enough to get by with a simple conversation but thats it. I can't do like some people and just spit anything they ask me. I'm not that good at least not yet. I will though. Does anyone write like little letters in Japanese. You know what I mean like the love symbol or anything like that to people that they know are learning Japanese too?

Our love will go on until the end of time. I will always be yours and you will be mine.

Not sure what you mean. By letters I understand you mean actual "letters"? I don't write letters in Japanese to people whom I normally speak to in English, even if they can write/read Japanese well. The only people I write in Japanese to are my host family and friends from Japan. I don't get what you mean by "love symbol". Heart-shape?

    Re: Japanese language learning.

Sayonara doesn't have to be a long-distance thing, or an emotional farewell. Students in Japan say sayonara to their homeroom teachers before they leave the class for the day. Daisuki basically means "like very much"... which is probably the closest meaning you'll get to "love", but in Asian countries "love" is not a word to be thrown around - I know this because I'm Asian (and if you watch/read NANA you'll find that Shouji, as a Japanese, has difficulty bringing himself to say "I love you" to Nana)... and that's why in anime/manga you'll hear/read "suki", rather than "aishiteiru".
