    Re: Japanese Learning + Requests

    The best method I found is to simply use flashcards to learn the majority of your textbook vocab, then to practice comprehending Japanese in RAW anime. That means no subtitles. If you try to watch it with subs, you're not going to focus on comprehending the Japanese you hear. It's pretty hard to find RAW anime though...

    Also, every week you should focus on one lesson of your textbooks. If you rush it, you may not be able to make the most of the lesson. Learn all the words used in the textbook, because they will usually be words on the JLPT tests.

    thanks for your suggestion. :] I would like to hear your story of how you learned Japanese. I find that stories inspire me to keep going.

    @kedar:
    Thanks for explanation. I can understand their expressions now.
    this is probably asking a lot but do you mind writing for me in romaji what she is saying in that part of them video? I can pick up several words but she spoke too fast for me understand what she's speaking.

    @Sei-chan:
    Hi Sei-chan, thank you for commenting. do you know any other words that are commonly used in spoken language that use similar verb conjugation?

    I am still working on hiragana, so I am jealous of you. Hiragana to katakana ha chotto muzukashii desu ne. :[ You should find time to read your genki books. They work really well and I improved a lot by reading them in a matter of months.

    @Decae:
    Just what I was looking for, great tips. thank you

    Sorry that is what I wanted to ask from the first clip. Thanks alot for your help I didn’t realize she said all that so quickly. It is easy to pick up now what she is saying with the romaji text. Again, thank you.
