Re: Japanese Lesson #1: Hiragana あ-お

I am a newcomer to the Japanese language (I do watch subtitled anime/listen to a bit of the music), but that doesn't mean much I don't think or does it?). I really like how you have put things together as I have found it thus far pretty simple to learn the language (easier than I anticipated) and have learned alot more than I previously have. I just wanted to make my first post on this forum a thank you for providing the chance to get a foot hold (even if it is very small) in this language and to say keep up the good work.

P.S. Sorry if my post sounds awkward or is in the wrong place.

Re: Japanese Lesson #1: Hiragana あ-お

Wow.

I'm really flattered and surprised that these lessons have been helpful to someone. I'm really glad they aren't totally useless! I'm not as good about updating them lately as I might be... but your comment might just refuel my enthusiasm a bit (I was beginning to wonder if anyone was getting anything out of these things at all!)

Hope you stick around and contribute to some other parts of the site... it's not that bad a place, really
