i really like the Yoshida Brothers. they play pop/rock shamisen as a duo. if you like traditional japanese music mixed with a little somethin else, check them out.

kung fu generation is the only j-pop that i know...............................

At least the only J-rock band you know of is a fairly good one.

I havnt heard a lot of japanese music but what i have heard is very good ( I have hard a lot of music from all other the world and japanese is pretty high up on the list of good music)

Oh? kedar thinks the same as me? Tamaki Nami is super awesome!! Starts at an young age and her songs are just AWESOME!! I personally love "Destiny".
