![]() Credits: 532 | Hey everyone! With all the cool japanese coming out by the loads, I'd like to know what some of your faves are. Also I want to know about some more japanese bands/singer myself. There are quite a few simple rules. 1.Discribe why you like the band/singer ![]() 2.Only disagreement! No serious arguing(it makes threads get closed )3.Feel free to share your recommendations and have fun ![]() Wow and this thread still has zero posters.. ![]() Last edited by kedar; Jul 28, 2007 at 06:41 PM. God's Little Girl | Re: The Japanese Music Thread ![]() Let's see. For starters, there's Harenchi☆Punch - now 80PAN! - a 3-strong girl band comprising a two vocalists (one of whom plays the guitar) and a rapper. I have only a few reasons for liking them, but none for disliking them... 1. Their vocalist has an awesome voice - she's not squeaky like Otsuka Ai, and she's not too husky like Onitsuka Chihiro. Her voice is... just nice. Go Tomomi!2. Their songs are immensely fun, and though their PVs are kind of stupid, they really get you.. bouncing? Moving, at the very least. ![]() So yeah. Harenchi☆Punch is great, if you like that sort of thing. They're kinda like HeartsGrow, but minus the guys.

Upcoming Legend | Re: The Japanese Music Thread I don't listen to much music or bother to even remember the names and faces of "artists", so my silence would be a given even if I were to speak Japanese and or come across these bands. I don't mind checking things out, so any suggestions or comparisons would be welcomed. So...what are your favorites Spooked? Side note - I don't really care about the lyrics, the melody would suit me just fine, along with a clean clear voice. |

Or I might, you know, assume you like heavy J-rock, recommend D'espairsRay and then have you develop a phobia towards Japanese rock bands. ![]()

![]() Credits: 1,700 | Re: The Japanese Music Thread ![]() Right-Left: Rie(Drummer) Thera(Bassist) Waka(Vocalist) Hiko(Guitarist) Danger Gang's not my most favorite band, but they're a good band to listen to. I love their music, some songs are emotional(my favorite song has to be feathers of sorrow) ^^;; I also love their hair.

![]() Credits: 532 | I have a few recommendations, and I will have to check out the Harenchi punch! I like tons....a little too many. for VK I like Plastic Tree, cause they can rock their guitars really well!! Ayabie is pretty good as well, he sings in a type of japanese that isn't really used anymore, hard to understand but they are great .Panic Channel is great too, they have a great sound that is unique, it's like a combination between Antic Cafe and The Gazette. But my all time fave VK band is Alice Nine or A9. they are amazing...really good voice, it's kinda like Hyde gone VK. ![]() |

God's Little Girl | Re: The Japanese Music Thread Alice Nine what? Alice Nine < Merry < Plastic Tree < D'ESPAIRSRAY!!!!!!!! Like, seriously. I find Alice Nine really boring, and as much as I love Merry and Puratori.... well, let's just say you can tire of Gara's and Ryuu's voices pretty quick. I used to be terrified of D'espairs before, mainly because of their name, but I am in love with them now. That voice of Hizumi's.... *shiver*. It's so f*cking orgasmic, it makes you want to buckle up in your knees and cry. Their SQUALL single is especially lovely. It's not long-time D'espairs fans' favorite album, but it definitely is mine. ![]()

![]() Credits: 532 | Now D'ray, they are scary, i don't like them very much, too much hollering and too little music ~_~. Gackt and Malice Mizer are great because they still keep the musical element going on while they do their thing. Gazette is pretty good too! like the way they sing, like the music..it's all about composure |
