![]() God of Destruction | Re: The Japanese Music Thread Hm...Well I'm not too much of a japanese music fan, but there are some I do like. I enjoy Loud stuff like Maximum the Hormone [Does stuff from Death Note] and Gackt is also pretty good. Right now I'm just getting into a band called L'arc en ciel. [Full Metal Alchemist] The only solo artist for Japanese i really like in any respect is Utada Hikaru [Kingdom hearts]

Diamond in the Rough | Re: The Japanese Music Thread Heh L'Arc was the first j-rock band I ever really got into. All their songs are pretty catchy and well composed. I do prefer their older stuff though (before all the solo stuff). I think something new is coming out soon by them. Interesting to see what their new stuff will sound like.

Go check out the Pees, Bump of Chicken and Zwei. Three of my favorites. Not VK. Some people insist Zwei falls under the Visual category, but I fail to see how.

God's Little Girl | Re: The Japanese Music Thread Really? What have you been listening to? My relationship with Zwei is a love-hate one. I really really love Denny, Dragon and Fake Face, but the rest of their stuff is, in my opinion, pretty mediocre. ![]()

Newbie | Re: The Japanese Music Thread My favorite would most definitely have to be Dir en Grey. For one, Kyo can do some amazing things with his voice. Two, The rest of the band members are very talented as well. And three, I got to see them in Atlanta! ^_^ |
