I think its a culture thing they take care about them selfs alot there and yeah most of them specially the Jap. females are really cute and even when they are like 40 they still look 20.

It may be changing though. Hirano Aya's been wanting to look more sexy than cute lately. Didn't anyone see what she wore to the Seiyuu Awards!? Then again, she's Hirano Aya, she'll always be cute without even trying, no matter what look she goes for. She probably realized that a lot sooner.

I don't know about Asians just being genetically smaller and cute is the answer like Len said earlier. It's like their culture chooses to focus on that aspect for some reason.

Cuteness dosn't necerly have to mean childlike it referes to somthing thats delightfull pretty or dainty, it can also reffer to somthing with a certain charm.

Someone how is cute hase a certain innocence to them, there are alot of people how are sexualy atreckted to innocence.
So innocence is a form of sexyness, and sinds innocense is a form of cuteness, so cuteness can be seen as sexy.

They even have her blood type. It was a mistake for Shodokan to use pornographic stars as the example. Digi Charat was probably a better choice.

Well, i think it has a lot to do with the way most Japanese are...

Think about it, their culture, their way of life, is very reserved and meticulous. Politness and respect rign over every aspect of their lives. Everything thing is clean cut and operates with a mechanical precision. And all of a sudden, this cute little girl comes up to yu with a flower and offers you mudpies. To a person with such a resereved life, there is something very refreshing about the freedom this little girl has. Everything is still new to her, she still has hope... to some degree...

the second wife he had, was a little girl he basically stole from a convent becuz she was cute. And he raised her so she would be the perfect wife for him... and even then, he grew bored of her (i think???) and ended up with someone else. So, there's also that aspect of it as well...

As for me, ^_^ i like Sanrio! Chococat is my favorite! Closely follwed by Chi Chi Monchan!

I get what you're saying. But it seems to me that Japanese and other people in Asia focus on it alot more than Americans or Europeans do.

I found that makes her out o be very cute. She's a porn star so it was almost impossible for me to find a picture where she was covered up this much.

Well I guess that's plausible. Also I read up on that ancient novel you're talking about. Genji raped at least three women in that story. The novel never says what his wife thinks about that.
