Hahahah, you make a good point there blue. XD

As for the gomoku ramen, nope, never had the chance to try it. I've had gomoku gohan but not the ramen. And far as the ingredients go I think that long as it uses 5 different types of ingredients than its considered to be a "gomoku", its not 5 specific ingredients...I think.

    Re: Japanese Ramen?

Haha, serious? So like, if I dump 5 types of meat inside it's still consider gomoku ramen? Wait, if that's the case then the ramen-ya should allow you to choose what 5 ingredients you want, no? Or at least tell you what 5 they're putting in. I've never been to a ramen-ya that does that. It's always, "gomoku ramen hitotsu kudasai!" "hei yo! shosho omachi!" and it comes. Usually with more or less the same stuff... then again, I've only ever had gomoku ramen twice in Japan, so I could be wrong. XD

You'll have to look elsewhere, then. There isn't food in Japan spicy enough to even sear your tongue a little.

Awwwww... *sobs* Are you certain? I'm sure there has to be "something" that's hot enough to take my breath away.

Evidently, we do not have a fresh wasabi fan here...

Well, I already know about wasabi (I have some in the refrigerator) but I was referring to actual dishes. Wasabi can be in them, I just wanted to know of some dishes that can "knock my socks off!"

Hmmmmm, well 'Natto' would knock your socks off, but not in the way your thinking... Nattō - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and 'Fugu' could also knock your socks off, but also not in the way your thinking... Fugu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and fresh 'uni' has a very unique flavor to it... Sea urchin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and 'Kimchee' doesn't really count, since its actually Korean in origin... Kimchi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
