    Ye but the Simpsons is one of the rare cases where the viose acting is good, in most cases American voise acting is pretty bad (wel it sucks).

    And about girls and woman playing the roles of young guys:
    Girls and woman have a much higher vioces then men, and sinds young guys have high voices girls and woman are much beter at performing those roles.

    I agree with whitefoxdemon. Everytime the anime is a male the voice behind is a girl... I don't get it as well. Even though I am a fan girl.

    Well I suppose it's kind of like cosplay. Girls dress up as guys and guys dress up as girl characters. I actually saw one girl dressed up as sasuke from Naruto and she looked exactly like him. Hair and everything. She even had the little markings painted on her face. If you can't tell the difference in voices like in spirited away for example...I suppose they just pick whos ever voice they like. Personally I think it matches quite well most of the time.
