Thread: Japan's best places for sightseeing.

...well it depends on how far you're willing to travel to sightsee. I'm gonna suggest the following places assuming that you're willing to go out of your way. ^^;

-Akihabara: You're a member of AO so I'm assuming you have interest in anime and related items right? If you're an otaku I suggest that you visit Akiba (short for Akihabara, duh) when you're in Japan. Its known as the otaku's mecca so if you're into looking for the best anime, manga items then YOU HAVE TO BE THERE.

-Kyoto: Take in Japan's culture.

....oh, ummmmm....guess thats all I can come up with from off my head at the moment., y'know how it is, when you NEED to remember something, you cant. Guess I'll update as soon as I can remember the rest.

Well thanks i'll certainly visit the places you suggested as yes I am an anime fan otherwise theirs not much point in being here.

Kyoto is over 3 hours from Tokyo by bus... it's probably not the best idea in the universe.

Well what if I go by car, that should take some hours away.

why? the car and the bus take the same road? O_o; Do you have a flying car?

Yeah it's great lol. NO it's just the bus will be stopping at bus stops right which will add some time on where as in the car it's straight there.

Regardless if it stops or not, you'll probably get there faster by car.
Be mindful of the fact that you have to be in the possession of a a Japanese or an International Driver's License and at least 18 years old to drive in Japan.
And renting a car is can be limited to people over 21 or even 25.
