Hehe...I love them Kimonos and I am Japanese, too. The thing that attracts me to the kimonos are the artistic designs, which I appeal SO much to my eyes. As for my sister, Natsumi, who is learning classical Indian dance, loves the saries, which, according to my sister and I, look very much similar to a kimono. In fact, they resemble very close to each other...

They are also referred to as kimonos and yes guys wear them, too. But, men's kimonos have more manly designs like dragons, kanji symbols, bamboo, etc..

Ah. Yukata robes are more like sleep robes and they are not just for men. An Yukata robe is also called as a nemaki.

i've always wanted a kimono... to wear one...

but sadly... they're expensive... and i'm not willing to let my Darling spend so much money on me...

i'm jealous cuz he's worn a kimono... and long eyelashed... and make-up... he cross-dressed for anime expo...

kimono...it's definitely different to the fashion i'm used to seeing where i live, but i really like kimonos...! i'm not japanese, but i've been mistaken to be japanese quite a few times...but i'm not. i wore a kimono once in my life...about a year ago. it was for a cultural dance, and i chose the japanese culture. it was really warm...because there were 2 layers. apparently some kimonos...or all kimonos, have 2 or more layers. it was comfortable though ^_^

umm..why don't you make one.?.its super easy.

I gots me a silk Kimono for Christmas...But I dunno....It just doesn't look right...hmm...Well anyway...I LOVE Kimono's to death...Like KRAZZY haha..

Aaaaaaaaaand I really would like to wear the clothes that are like what Kikyo and other anime chicks wear...ya know that layered cloth (I don't know if they are called Kimono's or not) Are they?

the great thing about japan is that there people or at least a lot of them still follow the trdision and you can see and find women wearing kimonos more often then you might think
