    Martial Arts

I'm wanting to learn some form of martial arts. Do you study martial arts and what kind would you recommend for a beginer? Also how has it affected you personally?

SK and i taking 7 star Praying Mantis Kung Fu... it's militant style in our dojo, standing in lines, sounding off... fat people trying to do push ups... very military style...

it all depends on the dojo on how easy or hard it is, so it's best to go around the dojos in your neighborhood and see what you want...

Everyone can do Kung Fu, no matter who they are or what style they try... it just all depends on the instructors!

    Re: Martial Arts

I suggest Capeirio (may be misspelled) This is a very unique style which is often mistaken for breakdancing if you would like refrence check out Mugen from samurai champloo he uses a similiar technique (if not the exact same) as Capeirio in his swordsmanship however Capeirio I'm assuming is a hand and feet martial arts. I want to learn Capeirio as soon as Im a black belt in Tang Soo Do which at that point Ill pursue my goal to defeat my master and then go on to Capeirio.

I did tae kwon do for a while in elementary school... then shito-ryu karate-do for a few years. Then stopped.

I'm thinking of taking up kickboxing now.
