You should have been more polite and offered the neighbours some zarusoba. After all, it's the traditional way to do it.
'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart

tats kind of her to do tat..washing powder is good..
i never gave any welcoming gifts to me neighbors..my parents stopped me before i could and i felt guilty about it..maybe i should give soap to the next person tat moves in..hmm
i think you should bring some homemade cooking my mom did that and now the neighbors won't stop bothering us.
Up here, everyone always gives food. When we moved in, our neighbors gave us brownies; or something like them.
I didn't think it was weird seeing that America is the "fat country", but also soap is something weird to receive. I can kind of see that if it was in a gift basket with the soap in clam-shell shapes. Or scented soap.
thats really cool its some thing like were i live when we moved in ower new house ower neighbors gave us welcoming gifts, it would be a better would if more ppl were like that
