Need I remind you all that their are people out there that spout nothing but strings of random words in their own language. I call them morons perhaps you've seen one or two of them yourselves.
(Lol) Seen them? I live with a couple of them
I must admit, if I wasn't well tempered it would really annoy me. Then again it does reveal their level of intelligence. :p
LOL! I don't think I've ever said "kawaii" in RL before. But as many said...just give it time for teenage girls to realize it isn't even english language. Hmm..and I guess it could get annoying in japan if Americans were to randomly say japanese words. But who cares? It's our life?
i remember back in Junior high when my friend went to china
her cousing told her to say some word.. forgot what it was
but he said it was the word for "thank you"
so when she got there she would say it to people she bought stuff from.
luckily a helpful taxi driver informed that she was telling all the nice folks.
which is why id rather look like a dumb tourist in a different country rather than a rude one
people in America will understand what you just said. Except for the east coast. I heard they speak some alien language where they actually say the word "yes." "what" and "no"Quote:
he?" or "uun
that's pretty much my point.Quote:
that's the thing, it's not a first language. It's not even to learn a second language, it's about people using pieces of a language to show a vauge knowledge of a culture they wish they were apart that they learned about from a cartoon.
I wasn't making fun of anyone. Anyway I have never heard of this "dui" before. Maybe I have and just don't recognize it in writing.
